** WERS Bibliography Updated **

• The bibliography of research based on the series of Workplace Employment Relations Surveys has recently been updated. Over 30 new items have been added to the bibliography, including academic journal articles, discussion papers and published reports.

** WERS 5 Fieldwork now underway **

• The Sponsors of WERS 5 (DTI, ACAS, ESRC and PSI) have announced that survey fieldwork has now commenced. Fieldwork is being conducted by the National Centre for Social Research.

• WERS5 Research Fellow: The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) wish to commission a Research Fellow to work as part of the DTI research team responsible for the planning, development, management and analysis of the Fifth Workplace Employment Relations Survey (WERS5).

• Updated Bibliography: An updated bibliography of research based on the WIRS series is now available on this web-site.

• Time-Series Dataset: A time-series dataset containing consistently defined data items from the four cross-section surveys in the WIRS series is now available from the UK Data Archive.

• WERS Consultation: The WERS Sponsors' consultation over the broad design of a future survey has now come to an end. However, comments are still welcome on detailed issues such as the design of particular questions.
