Catherine (Kate) Robinson is a research officer
at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research. A recent addition
to the EPKE team, Kate was previously a research fellow at the University
of Portsmouth, where she worked on a wide range of projects. Her most recent
work has been in the area of applied microeconomics, considering the impact
of foreign direct investment and government industrial policy on plant level
total factor productivity . This has involved the use of the UK's Office
for National Statistics establishment level data, from the Annual Business
Inquiry (the ARD).
Kate is responsible for the EPKE website.
