Search Tips:

  1. Please note that the search engine is unable to search the WERS98 questionnaires and other publications available from this web-site: it will only search the actual text of the web-site pages. All publications, including the questionnaires, are available as Acrobat (pdf) files and can be searched using the 'text find' facility in the Acrobat Reader. The questionnaires can be found by following the two links below:

  1. Please also note that you will not be able to find the tabulations of WERS98 variables by entering variable names into this search facility. To access the tabulations of WERS98 variables you must first accept the terms and conditions for using them. Details of the tabulations available can be found by following the link to the Tabulations from WERS98 page.
  1. The search facility does not recognise logical conditions such as "and" or "or" as many other search facilities do.
  1. The search engine matches full words, and defaults to finding pages which contain all words. If it cannot find a page which contains all words, then it tries to find a page which contains any word.
