The Monetary History Group has been meeting twice a year (almost continuously) since the late 1960s. Originally at the London School of Economics, and always London based, it has over the years hosted most of the leading monetary and financial historians in the field. The organisers are most grateful to NIESR and particularly to the Director, Jagjit Chadha for hosting this meeting
