The Centre for Economic Institutions and Business History (CEIBH), the Group for Economic Analysis at Reading (GEAR) and the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR) have joined efforts in co-organising a topical and timely multidisciplinary workshop on “The Impact of Climate on the Economy”. The workshop will be held in person at the University of Reading, Henley Business School.

The workshop will consist of three sessions (each featuring three papers), which will present three different perspectives on the theme:

Session 1: Accounting, Finance and (Re-)Insurance Perspective

Session 2: Extreme Weather and Economic History Perspective

Session 3: Macroeconomics and Moral Philosophy Perspective
