The Institute is starting a monthly forum to discuss issues in advance of the quarterly forecast round and to engage with emergent macroeconomic issues in periods between. We are inviting a small number of economists from the markets, academe, policy makers and industry to contribute to and attend our Round Table, which will be conducted under Chatham House Rules. The discussion will be led by our Director Jagjit Chadha and Simon Kirby, Head of Macroeconomic Modelling and other members of our macro team will also attend.
The first meeting took place on 21st April. The second has been confirmed for 26th May and the third is due to take place on 16 June (tbc)
