You are invited to attend a public briefing for press and policy makers on Wednesday 20th September at which we will present NIESR's latest research on financial services after Brexit together with a new, specially commissioned forecast on the economic impact of leaving the EU.

The National Institute has been working on the issues raised by the prospect of Britain leaving the EU since the Referendum was announced. Following the Referendum outcome we have turned our attention to the different trade-offs in play as Britain prepares to withdraw from the European Union. This important research work will help inform the debate about what kind of Britain we want in the middle part of the 21th Century and beyond.

The briefing will be chaired by NIESR’s Director, Jagjit Chadha. The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.

Registration and coffee from 8.30am for prompt 9 o’clock start.
