We are delighted to invite you to our Spring 2021 Economic Forecast, at which we will present and discuss NIESR’s latest forecasts on the UK and global economies, with an opportunity for you to ask questions.
With vaccine roll-out improving the prospects for economic recovery, a resurgence of cases in some countries and a growing divergence between the developed and developing economies, our Global Economic Outlook will closely examine the impact of the pandemic and explore the spill-over effects of the American Rescue Plan. What are the risks associated with higher levels of global debt? What will the new landscape look like post-pandemic?
In the UK Economic Outlook, we examine what the gradual lifting of restrictions and opening up of the economy will mean for the different sectors and regions of the country. How much will household savings drive growth this year? Do we have to worry about interest rate sensitivity of public debt? Plus, what are the early signs of the impact of the Brexit deal on the economic outlook?
