Stephen is a senior economic adviser at HSBC, where he was previously Global Chief Economist until 2015.

Prior to this he was a member of the UK government Asia Task Force, and has presented both oral and written evidence of globalisation and international monetary policy to both the House of Commons Treasury Committee and the House of Lord Economic Affairs Committee.
Chair of our Investment Committee, Stephen was appointed as a trustee in 2015. He is the author of three books, and works as a journalist and consultant as well as a specialist adviser to the House of Commons Treasury Committee.
