Max Harvey

Max is mainly a qualitative researcher, with experience in interviews, content analysis and discourse analysis.

Research Interests

Main interest is in the area of political economy, with particular focus upon macroeconomic policy.

Previous research into macroeconomic policy has comprised both fiscal policy and monetary policy. Notably, conducting research into the UK coalition government’s austerity programme and green quantitative easing.

Other research completed has looked into the financial system, including adaptions made to UK financial regulations since the global financial crisis, and the transition towards an environmentally sustainable economy.

Additionally, completed research into UK and US social policy.
