Labour, Employment and WagesThis report presents evidence of how local authorities are supporting people towards work through employment and skills programmes. We use evidence from programmes in nine local authorities selected to represent a range of provision in terms of target groups and interventions. The LGA commissioned NIESR to do the research in 2014 with interviews with local authorities taking place during July and August.
