This report is about undergraduate students' experience of, and attitudes towards, part-time study and its costs. It was commissioned by the Graham Review, which has been tasked by the Welsh Assembly Government and the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales to consider policy regarding student support and the financing of part-time HE provision, and to make recommendations regarding appropriate fee levels and student support measures for part-time students, in the light of the new arrangements in Wales for full-time students.<br />

It is based on an online survey of 274 students drawn from all, but one, Higher Education Institutions in Wales, and was conducted between 24 November and 18 December 2005. The students surveyed were not representative of all part-time undergraduates in Wales, and over-represents students undertaking a first degree.
