With an election expected to take place at some point in 2024, we begin the year by focusing this quarter's Business Conditions Forum on the following topics:

• Can we expect sluggish growth throughout 2024 or might we see a clear pick-up at some point in the year?
• What are the likely effects of the National Insurance contribution changes, as well as the rise in the National Living Wage?
