On Thursday 13 April we are holding our quarterly Business Conditions Forum. This event helps us kick off our quarterly forecasting round culminating a month later with the publication of our UK and Global Outlooks.
This breakfast event is held in person at the Institute and represents an opportunity to gauge views on the current state of affairs and helps us understand sentiment surrounding the UK and Global economy.
The themes this forum will focus on are:
- Investment, tax and allowances: short run and long run consequences
- Forecasting in times of uncertainty
- Macroeconomic complexity and business priorities
This event will be chaired by Professor Leaza McSorley, Senior Research Manager Macroeconomics, with a contribution to the debate by NIESR Trustee, Peter C. Oppenheimer.
