Ahead of the publication of our Spring 2024 UK and Global Economic Outlooks, this press conference is an opportunity for journalists to hear directly from the researchers, ask questions and gain insight into what our findings mean for policymakers and the wider public.

With an election getting ever closer, NIESR’s Spring Quarterly Outlook will provide a closer look into the year's Economic prospects.  How will the economy rebound after the recession in 2023?  What will be the impact of the budget?  With inflation under control, when might we start seeing interest rate cuts?  And what will be the impact of the Bernanke Review on the Bank of England’s forecasting process?
